Teaching toddlers the basics of numbers can be an exciting and rewarding experience.

As I embarked on this journey with my little ones, I wanted to create a fun and interactive way for them to learn how to identify and write numbers 1-10.

I came up with the idea of creating colorful number coloring pages and tracing activities, making the learning process both enjoyable and educational.

To kick off our number learning adventure, I designed captivating coloring pages for each number from 1 to 10.

As my kiddo was coloring the big number, I would repeat the number in exciting sounds several times and eventually have them her repeat after me.

So as my toddlers filled sheet with vibrant colors, she not only learned to recognize the numbers but also strengthened her fine motor skills :)

To take the learning experience further, I introduced tracing activities for each number.

As my toddlers became more comfortable with tracing, we progressed to writing practice.

We turned it into an exciting game by using a combination of colorful markers and unique writing surfaces, such as wipe-clean boards or sand trays.

This interactive approach made the writing process feel like a playful adventure, encouraging my kiddos to explore and experiment with numbers freely.

To reinforce number recognition, we incorporated fun games into our learning routine. We played counting games with toys or objects, encouraging my toddlers to identify and match the corresponding numbers.

We also used flashcards, creating a friendly competition to see who could shout out the correct number first.

These games added an element of excitement and made the learning experience truly enjoyable.

Teaching numbers to toddlers doesn't have to be a dull and monotonous task.
